Motor Pump Automation is a system that automatically controls the operation of a water pump or motor based on water levels, pressure, flow, or timing requirements. It eliminates the need for manual switching, reduces water wastage, prevents dry running, and protects the motor from damage.

The system typically includes sensors, a control panel, relays/contactors, and protection devices. When the water level in a tank falls below a preset level, the controller automatically starts the pump. Once the tank is full, the pump stops automatically. Advanced systems may also provide features such as dry-run protection, overload protection, phase failure protection, remote monitoring, and mobile app control.
